Atolya is a vibrant and inclusive contemporary art studio, dedicated to celebrating and preserving the artistic heritage of Anatolia. Located in the heart of Darlinghurst, Atolya offers an array of enriching classes that celebrate the beauty and tradition of this timeless region.

At Atolya, we are committed to providing an immersive experience that showcases the rich tapestry of art and culture. Whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner, Atolya offers an inclusive space for all. Come and be part of a community that appreciates the intricate beauty of Anatolian heritage and its enduring influence to this day.

The word 'Atölye' in Turkish means "a workshop or studio, especially of an artist or artisan" akin to the French word Atelier which encapsulates the essence of our space. It reflects not just a physical space for artistic creation but a mindset, a prototyping spirit that defines our work, spaces, and community.

Similarly, our brand name Atolya is derived from the word Anatolia, the historic name for modern-day Turkey. Atolya is a celebration of the profound heritage that echoes through the ages. We believe in the power of art to connect us with our roots, and our classes draw inspiration from the traditions and beauty of Anatolia. Explore our most popular classes below:
